Shopping Downtown

This afternoon I drove my sister to downtown LA, which I know quite well, so that she could go to a meeting. In the meantime, I went to the garment district to look for trims and fabrics for the party for Honey. I like Levine's; it's a good place to start. They had few natural ribbons, but it was enough to get me started. I have not finalized things, so it is good to have a variety on hand; buy quality and you will eventually use it, that's my philosophy!

Downtown LA has a definite vibe; every 10th car is a cop; there is lots of activity. Doesn't bother me, but it sure is a change from Orange County!! I don't understand the wierd kids mannequins but they were all around...
